The club wants the Portuguese to sign a new agreement in the near future
Milan insists that the winger Raphael Leau signed as soon as possible new contract.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Milan are offering the Portuguese a net salary of more than 7 million euros per season, including bonuses. In the coming days, a new round of negotiations between the club and the player’s representative is expected.
This season, Leau has scored 9 goals and provided 9 assists in 24 matches for Milan.
Earlier there was information that Leau does not want to sign a new contract with the Italian club. The current contract runs until the summer of 2024.
Leau is in the sphere of interest of Real Madrid, Manchester City and Chelsea. The London club even held talks with the player during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Milan are second in the Italian league, 9 points behind Napoli. On January 24, the Rossoneri will play against Lazio.
