Tomorrow the Ukrainian will undergo a medical examination in the French club
Bruges agreed to the transfer of the Ukrainian defender Edward Sobol to french Strasbourg. Today the Ukrainian will arrive in Strasbourg, and tomorrow he will undergo a medical examination.
Earlier there was information that Sobol could become a player in French Strasbourg. The Ukrainian needs match practice and wants to change his club registration.
Sobol has played 14 matches (one goal) for Brugge this season, but the defender has played only two full games.
Sobol came to Brugge in 2019, playing on loan from Shakhtar. In 2021, the Blue-Blacks bought the defender’s contract from the Pitmen.
In October last year, the Ukrainian extended the contract with the Belgian club until the end of June 2025. In addition to Sobol, another player of the Ukrainian national team plays for Brugge – forward Roman Yaremchuk.
Brugge, under the leadership of Scott Parker, is in fourth place in the standings of the Belgian championship. Strasbourg is in 16th position in Ligue 1.
