Athletistic/ Football. Former Spartak coach Raul Riancho said the Russian coaching school is inferior to the Soviet school. The Spanish specialist also noted that none of the current Russian coaches are even close to Valery Lobanovski.
“The Soviet coaching school is much stronger than the Russian school. Konstantin Beskov, Valery Lobanovsky – these coaches were known throughout the football community. These people created their own football treatises.
Cherchesov or Semak are not even close to Lobanovsky. He’s the greatest coach,” Riancho is quoted by RB Sport.
