Dynamo goalkeeper Denis Boyko has shared the details of his recovery from a torn cruciate ligament in his knee.

According to the goalkeeper of the Kyiv club, the return to action after a serious injury is going according to plan, and now the second stage of preparation has begun.

“I started the second stage of renewal and preparation. I feel good, I’m very happy to return to work with the team and see all the guys. I really missed them, because we didn’t see each other for three months after my surgery .Today I am very happy to return to the team location.

Everything is happening according to plan, step by step. In fact, 5-7 days ago I started running. The physical trainers and our doctors know my work plan, everything is on schedule. We are systematically preparing for me to continue training in the general group and be able to fully work with the team.

It all comes down to 2-3 months of recovery and systematic preparation. Perhaps, during this time I will be able to work on the football field and in the general group,” Dynamo’s official website quoted Boyko as saying.

It will be remembered that the 34-year-old goalkeeper was able to play only five matches for Dynamo this season.

Earlier it was reported that the Kyiv club announced the return of the midfielder.
