Chelsea, Manchester United and other Premier League clubs were interested in the player
Inter ready to sell defender Denzel Dumfries in January for 40 million euros.
The player’s agent is looking into the market in England, where several top clubs are looking for a right-back. Earlier it was reported that Manchester United and Chelsea were interested in the player.
Recall that in September, Inter was ready to sell the player for 30-35 million euros. After the 2022 World Cup, the Italian club decided that the player was worth more and raised the price tag to 50 million.
Dumfries has made 23 appearances for Inter this season, scoring 2 goals and providing 3 assists. The Dutchman’s contract with the Nerazzurri runs until the summer of 2025.
Inter is third in the Italian league table with 37 points. Simone Inzaghi’s next match will be against Cremonese on 28 January.
