The Slovak was unhappy with the Nerazzurri’s attempts to sell it in the summer of 2022
Inter defender Milan Skrinjar will not renew the contract with the club, said the player’s agent Roberto Sistici.
“In the summer, Inter decided to put the defender on the transfer. We were informed about the negotiations with PSG. At a certain point, contacts were interrupted, and Milan agreed to play out his contract to the end, ”said the agent.
“In the fall, we responded to all requests from the club and, after a series of preliminary meetings, set out our financial terms. After that, in November 2022, Inter presented their offer. About a month later, before Christmas, I informed the club that we would not accept this offer.”
“At the moment, it is not possible to extend the contract with Inter. We are in talks with PSG and also with other clubs outside of Italy.”
The 27-year-old Slovak’s contract with Inter expires in June. The defender has made 27 appearances for the club in all competitions this season, tallying one assist.
Inter is third in the Italian league table with 37 points. Simone Inzaghi’s next match will be against Cremonese on 28 January.
