Ukrainian forward SC Dnepr-1 Artem Dovbik entered the field of interest Everton.
The Liverpool club is considering a striker after the disruption of the transfer of Villarreal striker Arno Danjuma, who at the last moment refused a transfer to Everton and moved to Tottenham.
Dnipro-1 head coach Oleksandr Kucher expects Dovbik to remain with the team until the summer. The mentor believes that the striker is able to perform brightly in the European top championship.
For the second year in a row, Dovbik has been recognized as the best UPL player of the outgoing year according to the players and coaches of Ukrainian clubs. During the voting, Artem was ahead of Shakhtar’s winger Mykhailo Mudrik.
This season, Dovbik has scored 16 goals and provided 4 assists in 22 matches for the club from Dnipro. Recall that Artem became the top scorer of the group stage of the Conference League.
Everton recently sacked head coach Frank Lampard. Butterscotch, played by Ukrainian defender Vitaliy Mykolenko, is in the relegation zone of the Premier League – in 19th position. Dnipro-1 is the leader of the UPL standings.
