Club representatives are negotiating with specialists
Everton continues to search for a head coach.
Toffee management are considering options with Sean Dyche and Marcelo Bielsa. Negotiations have already been held with the specialists, and the final decision is expected in the near future.
Bielsa’s track record includes work in Espanyol, Marseille, Lazio, Lille, Argentina and Chile. The Argentine’s last club was Leeds, with whom El Loco won the Championship in 2020 and advanced to the Premier League.
As for Dyche, the coach set a Premier League record by leading Burnley for nine and a half years. During Dyche’s tenure, Burnley were relegated twice from the Premier League, finished twice in the top half of the Premier League table and qualified for European competition for the first time in 51 years.
Everton recently sacked head coach Frank Lampard. Irisok management decided to part with the mentor due to poor results and the team’s depressing position in the Premier League.
Everton, for which the Ukrainian defender Vitaliy Mykolenko plays, is in the relegation zone in 19th position. Up to the saving 17th position – 2 points. On February 4, the club from Liverpool hosts Arsenal.
