Al-Nasr club coach Rudy Garcia commented on the defeat of “Al-Ittihad” in the semi-final match of the Saudi Arabian Super Cup. The match took place at the King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh and ended with the score of 3:1.
Cristiano Ronaldo played the whole match for Al-Nasr, but didn’t score any goals.
– Ronaldo missed the chance to score a goal in the first half, but I congratulate Al Ittihad. They were much better than us before the break. Then we reacted, but we couldn’t change the score in our favor anymore. We lost the Super Cup, but we are still the first in the championship,” Al-Nasr’s club press service quoted the coach as saying.
At the end of December, 37-year-old Ronaldo signed a 2.5-year contract with Al-Nasr. He made his debut for the club in the Saudi Arabian Premier League Round 14 game against Al-Ittifaq (1-0) on January 22 and failed to score any effective plays.
