Moscow “Spartacus” denied media reports that Paolo Vanoli decided to leave the position of head coach of the football club.
Earlier, ‘Championship’ reported that the Italian specialist informed his entourage about the decision to leave Spartak.
– Paolo Vanoli didn’t announce anything to anyone, yesterday he celebrated the victory with the team, today he will discuss the training camp plan with Luca Cattani. The news is therefore false, Dmitry Zelenov, head of Spartak’s press service, told reporters.
Vanoli led Spartak last December. In the 2021/22 season, the Red-Whites took 10th place in the Tinkoff RPL and won the Russian Cup, beating Dynamo in the final of the tournament.
