The functionary denied information about 5 million euros in commission for the transfer of the player
Sports director of Dnipro-1 Evgeny Krasnikov stated that he does not claim any payments from the transfer of the winger Mikhail Mudrik from Shakhtar to Chelsea.
“This is complete nonsense. I don’t claim anything. And I can’t claim, I’m not an agent. This is complete nonsense or information stuffing. Someone wanted to be promoted, said something stupid, and people are listening.”
“The fact that I have been a mentor for Misha since childhood is one thing. But he has agents, Lundovsky and Alekhin, whom I recommended to him. And they took him away for many years. And I am a functionary, I have no right to be an intermediary.”
Earlier it was reported that Krasnikov claims 5 million euros from the transfer of Mudrik. The functionary was called one of the mediators from the Ukrainian side during the negotiations. Intermediaries from Europe also took part in the transaction, but their names are not indicated, which could increase the total amount of the transaction to 110 million euros instead of the declared 100 million.
Krasnikov has been dealing with Mudrik’s affairs almost since the player’s childhood. It was reported that the sports director of Dnipro-1 also claimed five million euros when the winger tried to buy Brentford for 22 million.
Mudrik signed a contract with Chelsea for eight and a half years. The Ukrainian made his debut for the Blues in the game with Liverpool (0:0).
