Ukrainian will move to the Premier League today
Defender Dynamo and Ukrainian national team Ilya Zabarny will sign a five-year contract with Bournemouth.
Dynamo will earn 25 million pounds for the transfer of the defender, excluding bonus payments. In addition, the Kyiv club will receive 20% of the subsequent sale of Zabarny.
Center back traveled to England today, where he will undergo a medical examination and sign an agreement with a new club. In August last year, West Ham, Everton, Brentford and Leicester were interested in the Ukrainian.
Zabarny is a graduate of Dynamo Kyiv. The center back has been playing for the first team of the white and blue since 2020. This season, he has 25 matches for Dynamo in all competitions. The defender also played 24 matches in the national team of the country.
In the UPL standings, Dynamo is in the third position. Mircea Lucescu’s team will not play in European competitions this spring. Bournemouth are 18th in the Premier League under manager Gary O’Neill.
