Bayer Leverkusen striker Serdar Azmoun is more likely to move to Marseille, according to Sport24.
It should be noted that the initiator of the transition of the 28-year-old striker is the current sporting director of the French club, Javier Ribalta, who knows Azmun well from his work at Zenit. The amount of the transfer could be around 10 million euros.
Azmoun joined Bayer Leverkusen from Zenit last January, signing a contract until the summer of 2027. As part of Aspirin, the Iranian has played 24 games, scored one goal and provided three assists.
The Iranian has been playing at Zenit since 2019. As part of the “blue-white-blue” he became a four-time champion of Russia, won the Cup and twice – the country’s Super Cup.
