Quincy Promes and Malcolm are Champions League squad-level players, but not the best, according to Franco Camozzi, a former adviser to ex-Spartak owner Leonid Fedun.
Promes and Malcolm are two talented but different players. They are both born wingers and currently play more in midfield. There is not much difference between them, the question is what the coach requires. Based on this, a person chooses the best option for himself.
To play in a top European club, you have to play in a league stronger than the RPL. Malcolm and Promes are players at the level of Champions League teams, like Zenit and Spartak, but not at the level of top European clubs, Camozzi told Metaratings.ru.
This season, Promes has scored 14 goals and six assists in 16 WORLD RPL games for Spartak. Malcolm has 12 goals and seven assists in 17 Russian league games for Zenit.
The Winline Winter Cup RPL will be held in the United Arab Emirates from February 2 to 11. Four teams will play in the tournament – Spartak, Sochi, Rostov and Krasnodar.
