Kherson club returned to the first place of the championship of Ukraine on hockey
Dnieper beat HC Kyiv in the next game of the regular season Ukrainian ice hockey championship – 4:1.
Kherson scored twice in the first period, after which they controlled the course of the fight. Dnepr put an end to the match at the very end, scoring the fourth goal in the minority.
Hockey players broke into a fight several times. At the beginning of the second period, Nikita Lesnikov and Vitaly Gavrilyuk had a fight, after which they were sent off until the end of the match. And 49 seconds before the siren, Daniil Tishchenko attacked Daniil Shilkin. The Dnipro striker eventually received a match-penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct.
Dnipro scored 48 points and returned to first place in the Ukrainian championship. HC Kyiv remains in fifth place with 8 points.
In the next match, Dnipro will play with Kremenchuk on February 2. Sergey Nuzhin’s team will play a derby against Sokol on February 3rd.
