In the summer, Andriy can join the Kyiv club as a free agent
Winger Al Ain Andriy Yarmolenko wants to return to Dynamo. Now the 33-year-old midfielder is trying to negotiate an early termination of cooperation with the UAE club, journalist Igor Burbas reports.
If Yarmolenko fails to negotiate with the leadership of Al Ain, then Andriy will join Dynamo next summer as a free agent. Recall that the contract of the Ukrainian with the club from the UAE is calculated until June 2023.
This season, Yarmolenko has scored seven goals and provided four assists in 17 games for Al Ain Sergei Rebrov.
Yarmolenko played for Dynamo from 2007 to 2017. As part of the Kyivans, Andriy became a three-time champion of Ukraine and won the country’s Cup twice.
Today, Dynamo gave striker Artem Besedin on loan to Cypriot Omonia. Also in the winter transfer window, defender Ilya Zabarny and winger Viktor Tsygankov left the Kyiv team.
Dynamo is third in the UPL standings. Mircea Lucescu’s wards did not make it to the Eurospring, having left the group stage of the Europa League.
