The president Dynamo Igor Surkis commented on the transition of the defender Ilya Zabarny in Bournemouth. He noted that part of the proceeds from the transfer of the Ukrainian will be sent to help APU.

Ilya is a graduate of the Dynamo Football Academy, he worked hard, showed himself well in the first team, became a player in the national team. I declare that Dynamo will continue its course towards the development of young Ukrainians. This strategy is a contribution to the development of Ukrainian football, the ability to regularly provide Dynamo players for national teams of different ages.”

It was reported that the total amount of Zabarny’s transfer to Bournemouth could reach 25 million euros. The defender himself signed a contract with the English club until 2028.
Zabarny is a graduate of Dynamo Kyiv. The center back has been playing for the first team of the white and blue since 2020. This season, he has 25 matches for Dynamo in all competitions. The defender also played 24 matches in the national team of the country.
In the UPL standings, Dynamo is in the third position. Mircea Lucescu’s team will not play in European competitions this spring.
