Navas spoke about Berdyev’s unexpected reaction to him and Azmun being at a nightclub

Former defender of “Rubin” and “Rostov » Cesar Navas told how the coach Kurban Berdiev reacted to a football player walking into a nightclub unannounced with his teammate Serdar Azmoun .

Navas played in the Russian Championship from 2009 to 2018. During this time he played 250 matches, scored four goals.

– Berdyev is a very serious person and demands responsibility and professionalism from the players. Once in Rostov, he called Azmun and me before practice on Friday. “I was informed that you were at a nightclub the night before,” he said with a stone face. Serdar and I looked at each other in amazement, not knowing what to say, but nevertheless confessed: “Well, yes, we went to a concert of a group that we like, but we didn’t come home too late.” They thought the coach was fine or would start blaming.

And Bekiich suddenly burst out laughing: “Yes, I know everything. Good group, it’s great that we spent time together. But next time take the guys who are new to the team with you – Mevlya and Prepelita,” Navas told the “Championship”.

Berdyev previously managed Sochi and is preparing the team for the second part of the Russian championship.
