Salvini on capital gains case: “Either the system is cross-eyed or Juventus is annoying: it’s strange to punish only one club”

Matthew Salvini, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure, commented on the decision and reasons given by the FIGC Court of Appeal regarding the capital gains case and the 15-point fine for Juventus. These words are quoted Adnkronos: “As a Milan fan, I’m not a Juventus defender. It seemed strange to me that in a system where it seems that many, if not all, used certain methods … Only against Juventus did we intervene with a straight leg. The Juventus fans, of course, did not need me, who then became the Minister of Transport. However, upon closing the football bracket, which is entertainment for children, I found them heavily entering the Juventus home, as if it was just a problem for Juventus. I found this odd. The vice premier then says: “Close to the Juventus fans because they have nothing to do with this” and that “if someone made a mistake for the love of God, it is right that they pay,” but Salvini remarks: “If they accuse you of profiting from capital gains and therefore of falsifying the value of the players… to fake it you need two and so if they penalize only one, either the system is mowed down or Juventus is annoying.”
