Ukrainian moved to the USA
Ukrainian defender Sergey Krivtsov told details of your transition from miner to Inter Miami.
“We spoke with head coach Phil Neville back in December. They wanted to get to know each other, to see what kind of person I am, to talk about my family, about my hobbies. I haven’t met club president David Beckham yet.”
“On the one hand, it is very sad, because I spent 13 years at Shakhtar. But sooner or later it would still happen, you would have to leave. On the other hand, this is a new challenge for me. It’s not just a different team and a different country, it’s a different continent. This challenge will be a step forward for me and my family.”
The Ukrainian has signed a contract until the end of the 2024 season with the option of extending for another season.
Kryvtsov has made 11 appearances for Shakhtar in all competitions this season without scoring.
Inter Miami finished sixth in the Eastern Conference of the regular season and were eliminated in the 1/8 finals of the 2022 MLS playoffs. The new season in the US Elite Division starts on February 25th.
