From Manchester United midfielder Mason Greenwood dropped all charges.
Greenwood was arrested on suspicion of raping and beating his girlfriend last winter. Soon the Manchester United player’s case was reclassified during the course of the investigation.
Recall that Greenwood’s girlfriend Harriet Robson posted a video with a bloody face and a photo with bruises on Instagram stories, accusing the player of violence. At the same time, Greenwood was released on bail twice.
The player himself did not publicly respond to the accusations. Manchester United suspended Greenwood from training and matches indefinitely.
Mason is a Red Devils alumnus and has scored 35 goals in 129 first team appearances. In 2020, the winger made his debut for the England national team.
