“Manchester United” announced that he would conduct his own investigation into the attacker Mason Greenwood who was previously charged in a criminal rape case.
On Thursday, the UK’s Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) dropped charges against Greenwood. The attacker has previously been charged with attempted rape, assault and violent behavior.
Manchester United take note of the CPS’ decision that all charges against Greenwood have been dropped. The club will now conduct their own investigation before determining further action, the statement said.
In January 2022, model Harriet Robson posted photos with a split lip and bruises on her body. According to her, Greenwood beat and raped her. Manchester United suspended the striker from training and matches and then police arrested the 21-year-old Englishman.
Greenwood made 129 appearances for Manchester United, scoring 35 goals and providing 12 assists.
