The second such Marcus prize this season
Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford recognized the best player in the Premier League based on the results of January.
Last month, Rashford scored the winning goal in the derby against Manchester City (2-1), and also scored goals against Bournemouth (3-0) and Arsenal (2-3).
Rushford has won the Premier League Player of the Month award for the second time this season. Previously, he was recognized as the best in September.
Other nominees for the January Player of the Year award include Newcastle defender Dan Burn, Nottingham Forest winger Brennan Johnson, Manchester City midfielder Riyad Mahrez, Brighton winger Solly March, Brentford goalkeeper David Raia and Arsenal midfielder Bukayo Saka.
Manchester United is 4th in the Premier League. On February 4, Manchester United hosts Crystal Palace.
