German goalkeeper Kevin Trapp extended the contract with “Eintracht” until 2026, according to the Frankfurt club’s website.
The goalkeeper’s previous deal was calculated until the summer of 2024. The new contract also has an option to extend for another year.
“Everyone knows how much this club means to me and that I feel at home in Frankfurt. I am happy to continue to be part of the Eintracht family. We have been through a lot together and there is still a lot to do. The club’s ambition is 100% mine and I want to keep giving my all to the team,” Trapp said.
Trapp joined the Eintracht Frankfurt team in 2012, from 2015 to 2018 he defended the colors of the French PSG. As part of the German team, the 32-year-old goalkeeper played 282 games, last season Trapp became the winner of the Europa League. He has six caps for the German national team.
“Eintracht” in the 1/8 finals of the Champions League will play with Italian “Napoli”. The first meeting will take place on February 21 in Germany, the second leg will take place on March 15 in Naples.
