Moreover, I know that Western specialists do not like these training programs either, because they are very controversial. Previously, you could name 20 to 30 high-level goalkeepers, there were several of them in each league. Now, to list really good goalkeepers, the fingers of two hands are enough for us,” the ex-goalkeeper said in an interview with RT.
Ovchinnikov worked as a head coach from 2009 to 2011 at Kuban, Bryansk and Minsk Dynamo. For four years he was a member of the coaching staff of the Russian national team. At CSKA, he also worked in the technical staff for six years.
