Kalush won back two goals, but conceded in extra time
Kremenchug snatched the win in overtime Legion in regular season game Ukrainian ice hockey championship — 5:4.
Alexander Savitsky’s team opened the scoring already in the first minute of the match, and by the middle of the first period they were leading by two goals. Legion quickly won back one, but Kremenchug in the second period again returned the advantage of two goals.
In the third 20-minute period, the Kalush team scored twice in a minute and a half and equalized the score. However, in overtime, Yevgeny Abadzhyan brought victory to Kremenchug.
Wards Savitsky scored 48 points and approached the leaders of the Dnieper and Sokol. Albert Shafikov’s team has 35 points and fourth place in the championship.
Kremenchuk will play the next match against Sokol on February 11. Legion will play against the same Falcon on February 15th.
