Spanish specialist Luis Aragon Bayona will not be part of the coaching staff Sergei Rebrov in the Ukrainian national team, according to journalist Mikhail Spivakovsky.
Earlier it was reported that Bayona is working as Rebrov’s management in Al Ain. However, the journalist notes that the Spaniard left the club a few years before the arrival of the Ukrainian coach and has nothing to do with Rebrov’s current team.
Recall that among the potential assistants of Sergei Rebrov in the national team of Ukraine are the Spanish coach Vicente Gomez and the ex-goalkeeper of Shakhtar and Mariupol Rustam Khudzhamov. Also in the process of discussing candidacies for one or two more positions.
Sergei Rebrov is negotiating with Al-Ain on the early termination of the contract. The coach is called the main contender for the vacant post of head coach of the national team of Ukraine after the termination of cooperation between the UAF and Oleksandr Petrakov.
