Kukharevich: It’s not easy to move to a new team and country, but I think I had a good first part of the season

Ukrainian striker scored three goals in 10 matches of the Scottish Championship

Hibernian forward Nikolai Kukharevich spoke about his adaptation in the Scottish team. He also compared the European championships with the Ukrainian championship.

“It’s not easy to move to a new team and country and start playing right away, but I think that I quickly joined the team and had a good first part of the season. I always want to do even better, but in general I feel a lot of support from local fans, so I want to return to the field as soon as possible, ”said Kuharevich.

“Return to Troyes? I can’t say anything yet, now the main thing, again, is to start playing, and in the summer it will all be decided.”

“I have not been in France for so long, it is easier for me to compare with the Belgian championship. In Scotland, more power football, and in Belgium, more technical. But if we compare these championships with the Ukrainian one, then I think the difference is that both there and there the teams play more attacking football.”

Now Kukharevich is recovering from a lateral knee ligament injury. It is expected that the Ukrainian will return to full training with the team in 10-12 days.

Kucharevich joined Hibernian in early September on loan from Troyes. Previously, the striker was rented by the Belgian Leuven.

Kucharević has scored three goals and provided one assist in ten games for Hibernian this season.

Hibernian is sixth in the Scottish Championship with 31 points from 24 matches.
