Victor could make his debut for a new team against Valencia
Head coach Girona Michel spoke about the readiness of the midfielder Viktor Tsygankov for the match against Valencia. According to him, the Ukrainian is ready to enter the field.
“Tsygankov is ready. He is a top player for us. Victor is ready to play. Let’s see how many minutes he plays,” Michel said.
Tsygankov has not yet made his debut for Girona. The Ukrainian was included in the team’s squad for matches against Villarreal (0:1) and Barcelona (0:1), but he did not appear on the field.
Tsygankov has signed a contract with Girona until the summer of 2027. The Spanish club paid five million euros for the midfielder. Also, Dynamo will receive 50% of the amount of the subsequent resale of the Ukrainian.
Girona is 12th in La Liga. Tsygankov’s team will play Valencia on 5 February. The beginning is at 17:15 Kyiv time.
