The only goal of the match was scored by striker Harry Kane in the first half. The goal was the 267th for the striker for Tottenham in his career, Kane became the club’s new top scorer in history.
Note that the hosts played out the match with ten men. At the end of the meeting Christian Romero earned a second yellow card.
Manchester City did not take advantage of Arsenal’s misfire and are five points behind the Gunners, having played a match more. Pep Guardiola’s team has 45 points. Spurs are in fifth place with 39 points.
