Sports director bavaria Hasan Salihamidzic said that Neuer manual put personal interests before the interests of the club.
Earlier, the Munich keeper criticized the club’s decision to sack goalkeeping coach Toni Tapalovic.
Tapalović has been Bayern’s goalkeeping coach since 2011. Neuer said he didn’t understand the decision to end cooperation with a specialist.
– I understand that this concerns Manuel personally, but he is the captain and I revived a different attitude from him. Manuel put his personal interests before those of the club. We will discuss it reasonably with him in the team,” Salihamidzic said.
Earlier it was learned that Neuer, 36, will miss the rest of the season with a broken leg. He was injured last December while skiing.
