Dynamo, which we did not know. Who lights up at the training camp of Kiev after the sale of Zabarny and Tsygankov

Sport Arena introduces readers to the new names of Dynamo Kyiv – having lost over the past year Kendzhera, Zabarny, Verbich, Tsyhankov and Besedin Lucescu introduces new names

At the training camp in Turkey, Dynamo has already held six sparring matches. And with each one it becomes more and more interesting: the people of Kiev will have to learn how to play without such perennial leaders as Tsygankov, Zabarny or Kendzhera. And it’s hard to say in which line the Grand is undergoing major updates – after all, the leading players have left defense, midfield and attack. The leading players will have to be replaced at each link, and everyone is watching the Dynamo game, looking for future stars among the new names.

The Sport Arena is sorting out what are the players who are tested by Mircea Lucescu in sparring during the training camp.

Who is changing whom?

Mircea Lucescu professes the principle of a “single team”: in Turkey, both the main and youth squads are trained, and the head coach involves all the young people he may need in sparring of the first club squad. At the same time, Mircea Mihailović looks very widely – during this time he has already called 12 players from the conditional youthful cohort to the games.

  • Valentin Morgun
  • 21 years old, goalkeeper
  • Didn’t play this season

The son of the legendary goalkeeper Vorskla and Levski, the champion of Bulgaria Oleg Morgun. He moved from Metallist as a youngster, was at a fairly high level for some time, made his debut in the Junior Champions League. After the cancellation of the championship U-21 is in dire need of game practice. At the training camp in five matches he conceded three goals, however, in the last two sparring he played to zero. He is trying to grab his chance as much as possible, given the injuries of Buschan and Boyko.

Instead of whom? Boyko, Bushchan.

  • Naveen Kid
  • 19 years old, defender
  • This season – 15 matches and 1 goal for the youth team

Pupil of Vyshgorod Dinaz. In Dynamo, after a few years, Lucescu came to a substantive interest. Possesses good anthropometry, impact and leadership qualities. Plays with deep connections along the entire length of the flanks. He has international experience – both for the youth team and in the U-19 Champions League. After Kendzhera went on loan to PAOK, Karavaev is increasingly being recruited. He played in the last two (winning and “dry”!) sparrings of Dynamo.

Instead of whom? Kengera

  • Anton Bol
  • 20 years old, defender
  • This season – 9 matches for the youth team

Zhytomyryanin is also not a newcomer to the training camp of the first team. Excellent anthropometry, jump, first pass. It has significant potential in connecting to standards. He hasn’t gone from gross mistakes in previous sparring, but in general he is clearly progressing. They say it is listed above all the current players in the youth squad. However, now he plays mainly in the “reserve bundle” with Dyachuk, who was returned from Alexandria – and Popov and Sirota play enough as the main ones. Had three sparring matches.

Instead of whom? Zabarny.

  • Maxim Dyachuk
  • 19 years old, defender
  • This season – 5 matches for the main team of Alexandria, 3 – for the youth

A pupil of Ivano-Frankivsk football at one time got to Dynamo from Morshyn Rock. For several years he progressed in the youth team, and for some time he was considered the second in talent after Zabarny. I used the lease in Alexandria fruitfully, even despite the first removal in the Premier League. Tough, tenacious player. Very cruel (within the rules) in a one-on-one fight. With Bol, he will definitely be “under” the main center back duo.

Instead of whom? Zabarny.

  • Alexander Yatsyk
  • 20 years old, midfielder
  • This season – 1 match for the first club team (CL), 11 matches and 5 goals for the youth team

For a long time under the first command. The captain of the youth squad plays in the center of midfield, but is not a pure defensive midfielder – rather a wide-range central midfielder, “number eight”. Yatsik has good field vision, stamina and a strong shot. This is not his first training camp – Sasha has already played and scored in previous sparring. In five matches at this training camp, he scored one goal – Veile scored great. In terms of intra-club prospects, he will clearly get his chance, but when Lonwijk finally gets used to Dynamo, and Shaparenko returns to combat form after an injury, Yatsik’s chances will be few. Unless he opens up deeper, as a defensive player of a more modern formation than Sidorchuk.

Instead of whom? Shaparenko, Lonwijk, Andrievsky, possibly Sidorchuk.

  • Maxim Vasilets
  • 17 years old, midfielder
  • This season – 4 matches for the youth team

Another wide profile centrifuge. They say that he impressed the coaching staff with the volume of work. Knows how to play dynamic, tempo football. able-bodied. An obvious talent in his role. So far, of course, in the long term, but one of those who can surprise. According to the game, the experts we interviewed compared him with Pavel Yakovenko, and it even seems to us that he looks more like Yuri Maksimov from the time of the Dnieper – even Dynamo and Werder Bremen.

Instead of whom? Shaparenko, Lonveik, Andrievsky, Yatsyk.

  • Anton Tsarenko
  • 18 years old, midfielder
  • This season – 2 matches for the first club team (CL), 10 matches and 4 goals for the youth team

The skilled attacking midfielder has also already made his debut in the club’s first team. “Light head” and resourceful player. He sees the field perfectly, and not only can cut off several opponents with a thin pass, but also complete the attack. It looks especially great in short perepasovka and high-speed multi-pass. Minus – anthropometry: next to tall, stately competitors, he will lose in the fight, but he could not prove himself such an important player in order to become a style-former. He played five sparrings at the training camp.

Instead of whom? Buyalsky, Lonveik, Shaparenko.

  • Kirill Pashko
  • 16 years old, midfielder/forward
  • This season – 9 matches and 2 goals for the youth team of Zorya

Another shot from Lugansk Zarya. He went through the Metalist and Dynamo schools. I scored a lot on DUFLU – especially in the season before last. Rapid, technical, with good vision of the field. There is a bright talent. But, undoubtedly, like other “stars”, he got to the training camp of the first team as an external player – good breeders, therefore, in the youth team of Lugansk.

Instead of whom? Tsygankov, Benito, Karavaev, Kremchanin.

  • Dmitry Kremchanin
  • 18 years old, midfielder/forward
  • This season – 14 matches and 2 goals for the youth team

A fast player can play either as a central striker or as a winger. It is noted for the ability to revive the game through a replacement. Born in 2005, but has long been in the U-19 squad. He scored a lot in DUFLU (in 63 matches – 53 goals), but mostly for the Chernihiv Youth (Yarmolenko’s native school). After moving to Dynamo, it was more often used not at the point of attack, but in depth, from the flanks. At this training camp, he came on as a substitute – instead of Benito. This emphasizes that it is still too early for Dmitry to join the first team.

Instead of whom? Tsygankov, Benito, Karavaev, Vanat, possibly Supryaga.

  • Nazar Voloshin
  • 19 years old, midfielder/forward
  • This season – 13 matches and 5 goals for Kryvbas

Voloshin’s return from loan is an expected event. Nazar showed himself well in youth competitions. He is effective as a winger and attacking midfielder. This is a technical, impetuous footballer, who will definitely be considered as one of the replacements for Tsygankov – especially since Lednev was injured. Another option is a purely attacker. In our opinion, in this role, Voloshin will yield to both Supryaga and Vanat, but as an option, we have in mind. The problem is that, having taken part in all sparring, Nazar will not break through in any way. He’s still headless.

Instead of whom? Tsygankov, possibly Besedin.

  • Matvey Ponomarenko
  • 17 years old, striker
  • This season – 8 matches and 3 goals for the youth team of Zorya

As you know, almost half of the youth reserve of Dynamo went to Zorya. Ponomarenko is the first example to come back stronger. True, in the first half of the season in the U-19 championship he did not hit – only three goals, all in one match with Ingulets. The challenge of Ponomarenko is a distant advance and evidence that he is loved and respected in the team. I played two sparring matches at this training camp, I did not score for the first team.

Instead of whom? Vanat, Supryaga, Gorbach.

  • Igor Gorbach
  • 18 years old, striker
  • This season – 12 matches and 5 goals for the youth team

Root Dynamo. The top scorer of all seasons of his youth squad. In 120 matches – 69 goals. I didn’t score in the Champions League, but what rivals… Bayern, Benfica, Barca… Dynamo is considered the most harmonious young forward: not a runner, but speed; not a “rammer”, but anthropometry is in order; not a “spender”, but in every match he clings to moments. Here he would be more trusted in the first team! So far, only a couple of substitutions, but the potential is very good.

Instead of whom? Besedin, Garmash, Supryaga.

* * *

We tried to focus on young talents who are making their, roughly speaking, first steps. If you have questions about the names of Benito, Kravchenko, Burda, you should go to other sites. However, of course, even less well-known names will emerge during the training camp. And it will be true. It is much more useful to give a chance to Voloshin, Yatsyk, Dyachuk, or even the same Gorbach, than to sculpt, conditionally, Garmash into forwards or Shabanov into defenders. In this regard, we fully support the course of Dynamo.
