Athletistic/ Football. Sports lawyer Mikhail Prokopets said that the suspension received by striker Roman Pavlyuchenko in the second division while playing for Znamya will not prevent him from playing for Ufa in cup matches.
“The disqualification of Pavlyuchenko, received in the match of the Second League, will not affect the matches of the Russian Cup in any way. There will be no problems with this,” Prokopets told the “Championship”.
Previously, Ufa asked the RFU to inform the club about the possibility of registering Pavlyuchenko to participate in the Melbet Premier League and Russian Fonbet Cup matches, with an eight-match suspension in the Second League.
