Double marked Artem Dovbik
Dnepr-1 defeated the Latvian audu in the control match at the training camp in Turkey – 5:1.
Oleksandr Kucher’s wards already in the first half signed three times at the opponents’ goal. First, Juan Peglou brought Artem Dovbik one on one with the goalkeeper, and the striker opened the scoring. Then the newcomer of Dnipro-1 Ronald Matarrita and midfielder Oleksandr Pikhalyonok scored twice more before the break.
Auda started the second half more actively, and won back one goal from the penalty spot. However, within the next five minutes, Dovbik scored a double, while Vladimir Tanchik set the final score.
The duel with Auda became the last sparring of Dnipro at the training camp in Turkey. Earlier, Kucher’s wards played a draw with Dynamo Tbilisi (3:3), defeated Pakhtakor (3:0), lost to Rakuva (1:3) and beat Pyunik (3:1). Also, Dnipro-1 ended in a goalless draw with Sutjeska (0:0) and outplayed Mura (2:1), and then Atyrau (1:0).
Kucher’s wards will play the next match in the 1/16 finals of the Conference League with the Cypriot AEK. The first match will take place in Larnaca on 16 February.
