Kucher: We will work with those performers that we have

Dnipro-1 will go to Cyprus on Wednesday to prepare for the playoffs of the Conference League

Head coach Dnepr-1 Alexander Kucher said that the team no longer plans to sign players during the winter transfer window.

“We did what we could do, we managed to sign someone, but not someone. We will work with the performers that we have. We have a good team and good guys, so we will work and give our best on the field.”

“On Wednesday we leave for Cyprus. We will train and prepare there on the spot. We will refine what we need and try to give a fight to the opponent one hundred percent.

We watched the last game between AEK and Apoel, and already in Cyprus we are planning to visit their game in the championship. Of course, the guys and I will still have theoretical classes, where we will analyze the opponent.”

Dnipro-1 has announced three newcomers to the playoffs of the Conference League. Costa Rican Ronald Matarrita signed a two-year agreement with the Ukrainian club, Brazilians Juan Peglow and Hainer moved to Dnipro-1 on loan.

Kucher’s wards will play the next match in the 1/16 finals of the Conference League with the Cypriot AEK. The first match will take place in Larnaca on 16 February.
