Metalworker 1925 lost to Kazakhstani Ordabasy in the control match at the training camp in Turkey – 1:2.
Ordabasy scored twice in the first half, Baurzhan Islamkhan scored twice. The midfielder scored both goals with shots from long range.
Metalist 1925 managed to win back one ball only at the end of the match. Midfielder Igor Nogueira accurately shot from the corner of the penalty area into the bottom corner of the goal.
Earlier in Turkey, the team of Edmar and Oleg Golodyuk played a draw with the Serbian club Radnichki (0:0), defeated the Bulgarian Hebyr (2:1) and the Macedonian Gostivar (1:0). In the next control match Kharkiv team will play with the Czech Lischen on February 12.
Metalist 1925 is 7th in the UPL standings with 18 points. Kharkiv club next match in the championship will play against Shakhtar. The base date is March 4th.
