Zakhareev was sued for the European Championship. All judges are disqualified for life – FBU

The Boxing Federation of Ukraine spoke about the work of a special commission due to an unfair result.

Ukrainian referee Viktor Zakhareev was denied the opportunity to fight for the gold of the European Boxing Championship. This conclusion was reached by a specially convened commission. The vice-president of the organization Mikhail Pozdnyakov spoke about it in an interview with the Boxing Federation of Ukraine.

According to him, all referees who took part in this trial were disqualified for life.

“Yuri Zakhareev was supposed to reach the final. However, the judges decided differently – they did not allow him to the final.

Yes, our delegation did not agree with the conclusions of the judges. After Zakhareev’s duel, the entire Ukrainian team even entered the ring, where they stayed until four in the morning. All to hear Ukraine.

We have already heard. A special commission was created, which reviewed the rivalry with Yuri’s participation several times and recognized his success. According to my information, the jurors who conducted this fight were banned from boxing for life.

Fortunately, such judges will no longer work in international competitions. But what about Yuri, who was denied the opportunity to compete for gold?

Due to the fact there were no protests in Olympic boxing, we were unable to protest the result. I think if it is possible to protest the outcome of the Zakhareev battle, then Yuri is in the final.

I believe there are no more such cases when judges rudely “kill” boxers in Olympic boxing, ”Pozdnyakov said.

It will be recalled that Ukraine won four bronze medals at the European Boxing Championships in Yerevan.
