Commentator Gennady Orlov believes that the former Zenit player, and now coach Alexander Kerzhakov has enough experience to work with Karmiotissa players.
Cypriot club Karmiotissa announced Kerzhakov’s appointment on Wednesday. The agreement with the 40-year-old coach is for a year and a half.
– I communicate with him, he is in good form as a trainer. He is trainable and wants to become a great and real trainer. Kerzhakov is ready for a big job. After all, he already knows a lot about football. He has something to say to local strikers, midfielders and even defenders, to share his experience, Orlov said on MATCH PREMIER TV channel.
Last season, Kerzhakov worked with PARI NN Nizhny Novgorod. Under his leadership, the team took 11th place in the standings of the Russian championship.
