The Frenchman reflects on the correctness of Michael’s choice
Famous French defender William Gallasknown for playing for Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham, commented on the transfer of the Ukrainian midfielder Mikhail Mudrik from Shakhtar to Chelsea.
“Maybe Mudrik was wrong. He could play for Arsenal and given their performance, Mudrik would fit in.”
“At the end of the season, he may regret his choice. What will Mudrik do if Arsenal become the champion of England, and Chelsea do not get into the Champions League? ”Gallas concluded.
Mikhail Mudrik joined Chelsea in January and signed an eight and a half year contract. The Blues introduced their newcomer to Stamford Bridge at half-time in the Premier League matchday 20 clash with Crystal Palace (1-0).
As part of the London club, the Ukrainian midfielder played two matches without scoring goals.
Chelsea are in ninth place in the Premier League standings.
