Joao Mendes, 17, previously played for Cruzeiro
The son of the famous Brazilian striker Ronaldinho – Joao Mendes de Assis Moreira signed a contract with Barcelona.
The terms of the agreement were not disclosed. President Blaugranas Joan Laporta noted that Joao’s performances in the youth team of Barcelona are not yet discussed.
Recall that the 17-year-old Brazilian terminated the contract with the Brazilian club Cruzeiro, which he signed at the age of 14. The contract was calculated up to the age of 20 years of the player. Joao Mendes plays as a striker.
Ronaldinho retired in January 2018. In the past, he played for clubs such as PSG, Barcelona and Milan. In 2002, Ronaldinho became the world champion with the Brazilian national team.
As part of Barcelona, the Brazilian midfielder won twice in the Example, twice lifted the Spanish Super Cup over his head, and in 2006 won the Champions League with Blaugranas. Ronaldinho won the Ballon d’Or in 2005 for Barcelona.
