The event will be held February 11 in San Antonio
Ukrainian heavyweight boxer Viktor Vykhrist (11-0, 7 KOs) commented on the upcoming fight with the Cuban Leinier Perot (8-0, 5 KOs).
“This fight is a big step for me. The victory over Pero can have a positive impact on my career,” Vykhryst emphasized.
“We met Leinier’s brother Perot in 2016 in an amateur ring. Then I lost on points. He is a good boxer, good footwork. I will try to get my revenge on his brother.”
“In case of victory, each of us can join the elite. I can promise you that the fight will be exciting and interesting to watch.”
The fight will take place on the undercard of a fight for the vacant WBC super featherweight title between Ray Vargas and O’Shaky Foster. The event will take place on February 11 in San Antonio.
In his last fight, Victor defeated the American Franklin Lawrence by unanimous decision. In the fifth round, the Ukrainian knocked down the American, but he managed to continue the fight. The fight took place at a boxing evening in Göppingen, Germany.
