Difficult Brentford, Merseyside derby and Zabarny’s possible debut: what to expect for Ukrainians in the new UPL round

We continue to follow our guys in England

The next round of the Premier League promises to be very interesting for football fans. And it’s not just about five Ukrainians in the league, but also about the matches that await our players. We figure out what to expect from the Ukrainians and the next round of the Premier League.

Mudrik: a chance for rehabilitation

The match against Fulham showed that we all need to calm down a bit. Mikhail Mudrik moved for crazy money to Chelsea, impressed everyone at Anfield, but magic does not come by order.

The duel against Dachnikov turned out to be very unsuccessful for Mikhail. Zeros in almost all attacking indicators and the replacement is already at half-time. And although later information appeared that Mikhail had a cold before the game, this can hardly be an excuse.

The game with Fulham showed how difficult matches in the Premier League can be for Mudrik. And next in line is another London team – West Ham.

Will it get easier? It’s unlikely here. The Hammers are now fighting for survival and need points in every match. Therefore, we should expect a very closed game with the second number. In Shakhtar, Mudrik managed to hack such teams, but here the level of defenders will be much higher. It will be interesting to see if Potter will trust Mudrik with a start and if he can show a better game than in the last round?

Arsenal – Brentford: Ukrainian duel, which (yet) will not take place

The Emirates will host one of the varieties of the London derby. And there is no significant history of confrontations between Arsenal and Brentford, in recent years it has been interesting to watch their fights.

For example, Brentford’s first match on their return to the Premier League was just against the Gunners, and then Thomas Frank’s team won! Now all hands are on the side of Arsenal. So far, Arteta’s team is the main favorite for the championship, although they lost to the outsider Everton. But was it an unfortunate misfire, or something more? The Brentford game will tell if Arsenal fans should be worried.

Oleksandr Zinchenko should start this game if there are no force majeure events. Brentford has its own Ukrainian. Yegor Yarmolyuk has already been included in the application for Premier League matches, but it was more likely an advance from the coach. It is not necessary to expect a debut in such a game, except that there will be a number of injuries during the game.

This match will be available exclusively on the setantasports.com platform. The game starts on February 11 at 17:30. With promo code 30OFFnew users can subscribe for a year with a 30% discount. And for active users, there is a SALE30 offer, with which you can get a similar discount on a subscription.

Debut of Zabarny (?) and the main match for Nikolenko

Ilya Zabarny was not included in the last round’s squad, but now there are enough trainings with the team to at least be on the bench. The rivals are Newcastle, so Ilya is unlikely to be immediately thrown into the start of such a powerful opponent. Intrigue: will there be a debut at all? The match will be shown on Setanta Sports+ on February 11 at 19.30.

Vitaly Mikolenko can definitely be proud of his performance in the last round. Stopped by Bukayo Saka, but next in line is Mo Salah. The Merseyside derby is interesting in itself, but the duel between the Ukrainian and the Egyptian attracts additional attention. Don’t miss it on Setanta Sports on February 13 at 22:00.
