Athletistic/ Soccer. As previously reported, midfielder Pavel Mamaev has decided to end his competitive career. The footballer hung up his cleats at the age of 34.
According to ex-Russian national team captain Roman Shirokov, Mamaev always showed top football, but he couldn’t realize his full potential.
“Probably, he didn’t fully realize his potential. But he played very well. He’s a great person. Continue to work in his academy? I think he can achieve everything,” Shirokov said as quoted by Sport Express.
