The Parthenopei avenged their Coppa Italia penalty shoot-out defeat
Napoli defeated in his field Cremonese in the 22nd round Serie A — 3:0.
The hosts took the lead in the middle of the first half thanks to a goal from Khvichi Kvaratskhelia. In the second half, the wards of Luciano Spalletti brought the score to devastating – Victor Osimhen and Elif Elmas distinguished themselves.
Parthenopei, thus, took revenge on Cremonese for the defeat in the 1/8 finals of the Coppa Italia. In January, the Serie A outsider beat the Neapolitans in a penalty shootout.
Napoli scored 59 points, the advantage of Spalletti’s team over second-placed Inter reached 16 points. Cremonese remains in last place in Serie A with 8 points.
Napoli will play Sassuolo on 17 February next. Cremonese will face Torino on February 20.
