Meeting with Bayern will open the Champions League playoff round
Mentor PSG Christophe Galtier commented on the upcoming match of his team in the 1/8 finals of the Champions League against Bayern.
The coach admitted that his wards are now going through a difficult period. However, in his opinion, the team is ready for new fights on the football field.
“If you are irritated, you are wasting energy. We have to let the anger out. This is how I managed my players for many years. There is a disappointment at PSG right now that leads to anger after our two defeats.”
“When you coach PSG and lose two games in a row, it’s difficult – especially relegation [из Кубка Франции] against Marseille. I stay in touch with my players, prepare for the match, look for the best structure so we can do well. As for me, I put aside all the pressure on me that people say about me – I respect all that. The important thing is what happens in the dressing room and how we prepare for this match.”
The first match between PSG and Bayern in the 1/8 finals of the Champions League will begin today, February 14, at 22:00 Kyiv time. The return match is scheduled for March 8.
