Member of the Moscow Board of Directors “Dynamo” Dmitry Gafin noted that the Blue and White defender Saba Sazonov attracted the attention of the scouting services of major European clubs.
Sazonov’s contract with Dynamo runs until June 30, 2024. This season, the 21-year-old defender has made 19 appearances for the Blue and Whites in all competitions without scoring.
– It has been reported that Italian clubs are already paying attention to Sazonov.
– During the period he started playing for the first team, Saba caught the eye of the scouting services of major European clubs. So, yes, there is definitely an interest. But it should be noted that there was interest even when Sazonov had just moved to Dynamo. We competed with a Spanish club [«Эспаньолом»] for Saba.
– At the moment, the club is not interested in selling Sazonov?
“It’s always a matter of the right time and the right conditions. Strategically, we won’t keep a player when we think it’s really the right time to move both in the interest of the club and in the development of the player. Until such a time comes,” Sport24 Gafin quotes.
After 17 rounds of the MIR RPL, Dynamo sit fourth in the table with 29 points.
