Krasyuk: 50:50 income distribution is more than fair considering Usyk has three belts and Fury has one

The promoter of the Ukrainian boxer is optimistic about signing a contract for the fight

Alexander KrasyukWBA/WBO/IBF/IBO title holder promoter Oleksandr Usykstated that he was optimistic about the imminent signing of a contract for a unification fight with the WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury. At the same time, the Ukrainian team insists on an equal distribution of income from the fight.

“I can’t say anything concrete because we are in the middle of negotiations. But I can tell for sure if it’s a fair deal when it comes to an undisputed unification of the titles. One fighter has three belts and the other has one – a 50/50 split sounds fair. This sounds more fair than it should be.

“If Tyson accepts this fair condition, then he is a real warrior and really wants to fight not only for money, but also for heritage. For legacy and four belts in the biggest fight in heavyweight history at Wembley Stadium. Why not? End of April, beginning of May, perfect time.”

“But it has to be fair. As long as I represent Usyk, I will fight for fair conditions.”

Fury and Usyk plan to hold a face-to-face fight for the title of absolute world champion on April 29 in London at Wembley Stadium. Fury’s promoters are urging the Ukrainian to fight in London, as the stadium in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) does not have time to build by the date of the fight.

It was previously reported that Tyson’s side had also held talks with Deontay Wilder. Fury is ready to fight at Wembley with an American boxer in the event of a breakdown in the fight with Alexander Usyk.
