Bayern beat PSG in the first leg of the 1/8 finals of the Champions League
Bayern head coach Julian Nagelsmann commented victory in the first leg of the 1/8 finals of the Champions League against PSG (1:0).
“Of course, the last 15 minutes were not easy. You saw what happens when Mbappe enters the field. PSG woke up with Mbappe, they have a stronger team when he plays. However, we have ideas how to stop him in the second match.”
“Pavard played well, it’s a pity that he got a second yellow card. De Ligt and Upamecano also had a great match, Coman came back and helped everyone in defense. Replacement for Cancel? We knew Davis would be superior on the wing. Alfonso is a little faster and PSG have put in even more fast attacking players.”
Bayern beat PSG thanks to a goal from Kingsley Coman early in the second half. The return match between PSG and Bayern will take place in Munich on March 8.
