Italy Under-17 team for two friendly matches against France

The elite round of the European Under-17 Championship is approaching and Italy are closing in on it, having played twice in a friendly against France. On Tuesday, February 21 at 16:00 and Thursday, February 23 at 11:00, the guys of Bernardo Corradi will meet the Transalpines at the prestigious headquarters of the Clairefontaine Federal Technical Centre.

Twenty-two players born in 2006 were called up, with the exception of former Inter player Alessandro Ciardi, Matteo Cocchi and underage Francesco Verde. Also present were the twins, goalkeeper Francesco and defender Matteo Playa.

Ireland, Cyprus and Ukraine will compete from 7 to 13 March in the second round of qualifying for the European Championship in their category.
