The head coach of Dnipro-1 spoke about the reasons for his team’s defeat in the 1/16 match of the Conference League.

In my opinion, they are equal replacements, because Dovbik got an injury, and Pikhalyonok was running at the end of the match, so it was necessary to replace him and bring fresh forces into the game.

I can’t say that Peglow and Heiner didn’t play well. Of course, these are newcomers who have not been with us for a very long time, and they are still adapting to the team and our game. They will need to understand our principles. I think it will be better.

I will not say that the level of Ukrainian teams has fallen. Now we meet them, when the opponent is, as they say in the season, has an unbeaten streak and, in general, looks very good.
